 - GIBSON COUNTY, IN – Nearly 300 acres of Southern Gibson County Farmland is slated for an Absolute Auction February 28, 2019.

Owned by the family since the 1930’s, the Dewig Bros Farm comprises approximately 292 acres with 272.01 tillable acres and a good mix of high-yielding soil types, with more than 100 acres of the farm being Evansville and Reesville soils.

The farm features more than 4,600 of the approximate 9,800 feet of road and rail frontage along S CR 25 W that connects Haubstadt and Fort Branch. The farm also features visibility to US-41, and has access to all public utilities which makes portions of the farm attractive for development.

The farmstead on the hill is a classic example, with a large house and (3) barns totaling 14,640 square feet.

The farm will be offered in multiple tracts, combinations, and the entirety.

The auction is scheduled to be conducted at Haubstadt Gym on February 28.

“This is a historic opportunity to buy quality Gibson County farmland linking two communities with path-of-progress potential,” said Aaron Wilson, Principal Auctioneer and Broker with William Wilson Auction Realty, Inc who is handling the sale.
